Denmark’s Narrow Edge Over Slovenia
Denmark and Slovenia had an identical record in points, goal difference, and goal scored at the end of the group stage. However, Denmark edged out Slovenia due to a disciplinary incident involving Slovenia’s assistant coach, resulting in a higher disciplinary point total for Slovenia.
