Didier Deschamps Aims to Resolve Kylian Mbappe’s Tension with Real Madrid

The head coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, is aiming to put the controversy involving Kylian Mbappe, the Real Madrid player, behind him.

As Deschamps prepared to announce his squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Israel and Belgium, he and Mbappe discussed the player’s situation.

They concluded that it would be beneficial for Mbappe to stay in Madrid and focus on recovering from a slight hamstring injury.

Nonetheless, the fact that Mbappe played in Real Madrid’s last game before the break and was seen at a nightclub in Sweden has sparked concerns in both Paris and Madrid.

Real Madrid has confirmed that the 25-year-old is on a tailored training program following a disrupted preseason, and they anticipate he will not be out for an extended period.

When questioned about the scenario before the match against Belgium in Brussels, Deschamps downplayed any issues with his captain.

“I don’t keep track of players who aren’t with us. Kylian is on a training plan with Real Madrid, and I’m not aware of his other activities,” he stated.

“My focus is on managing the players here. I can mention that Kylian sent me a message prior to the Israel match.”

“As with other footballers representing their clubs, he follows a specific program. If players have time off, they are free to spend it as they wish.”

Real Madrid is set to resume their La Liga campaign on October 19 against Celta Vigo, with expectations that Mbappe will play alongside the returning Vinicius Junior in Carlo Ancelotti’s lineup.
