This achievement makes him the youngest player to start a Champions League match for Real Madrid, surpassing Raul’s long-held record from 1995.
Endrick’s debut in the starting XI came at the cost of the club’s renowned star. Newly acquired Kylian Mbappe was left out of the lineup, taking a break alongside teammate Rodrygo.
This is the second match this season where Mbappe has not started, having missed the recent Madrid derby due to a muscle issue. Before this, he participated in 783 minutes out of a potential 810 minutes for the team.
For Endrick, this represents a significant milestone in his Real Madrid journey.
