In a clip shared by journalist Stéphane Bassalia Ouattara, Onana was posed a question about his potential departure from Manchester United ahead of the 2025/26 season. He replied, “Will I leave? I don’t know, we’ll see!”
He appeared relaxed while answering, even smiling and chuckling. However, his lack of a decisive response has led many fans to speculate that he might be leaving soon.
Throughout the season, Onana was a crucial player for Ruben Amorim but managed only nine clean sheets in the Premier League. He conceded 44 goals and made three mistakes that resulted in goals against his team.
Discussions about a potential transfer to Saudi Arabia have emerged, with several clubs showing interest in the keeper. While no formal negotiations are underway, there are clubs ready to make a move for Onana.
Manchester United has also been associated with other goalkeepers, indicating that Amorim may be looking to either replace Onana or bolster competition for the position.
