According to French source L’Équipe, PSG is willing to let go of Gonçalo Ramos this summer. As Manchester United plans a significant front-line revamp, club captain Bruno Fernandes is supporting his fellow countryman.
The 23-year-old Ramos came to PSG from Benfica in 2023 but faced challenges in securing a consistent spot under Luis Enrique.
Throughout the season, he made 41 appearances after an ankle injury kept him sidelined for several weeks, yet his starts were limited.
While he managed to score 18 goals, he often played second fiddle to Ousmane Dembele, who was utilized frequently as a false nine.

Currently, PSG considers Ramos expendable and is amenable to his departure. This information has reportedly gained the attention of Manchester United, particularly as they seek to address their scoring challenges.
United had one of their most disappointing Premier League campaigns, marked by a significant goal drought. Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee combined for only seven league goals.
The club has already brought in Matheus Cunha from Wolves and is negotiating with Brentford regarding Bryan Mbeumo. Nonetheless, Ramos could be the ideal addition.
Bruno Endorses Goncalo Ramos for Premier League
Bruno Fernandes, as Manchester United’s captain, believes Ramos would excel in England.
“Gonçalo has every attribute to thrive in the Premier League,” Fernandes stated last year. “He plays with intensity, excels in pressing, and is effective in the box. He’s physically strong; being young, he will continue to develop.”
“I believe he possesses all the necessary skills for the Premier League, and by that, I mean Manchester United as well. However, the decision isn’t up to me at this point. When I have that role, I will make those choices.”
With Fernandes still wearing the red kit and Ramos on PSG’s departure list, the situation may be aligning perfectly. If United moves promptly, a new Portuguese partnership could lead their attack into the future.
