Postecoglou is assessing three forwards nearing a comeback, although they might not be ready for this match against West Ham.
Captain Son Heung-min has been sidelined for three games due to a thigh injury but has resumed training alongside Richarlison, with both monitored ahead of the match.
“Sonny and Richy have looked good in training, which is encouraging for us,” said Postecoglou. “Hopefully, both players can make it back for the weekend.”
Wilson Odobert, recovering from a hamstring injury, has also started light training, while young midfielder Lucas Bergvall is fit after a minor injury during national duty with Sweden.
