Nigerian rapper and singer Zlatan Ibile, also known as Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, recently took to social media to celebrate his growth as a musical artist.

On his verified Instagram page, Zlatan Ibile shared a photo from 10 years ago when he won a car at a talent show.
At the age of 19, he emerged as the winner of the Airtel-sponsored “One Mic Campus Tour” music competition in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
This victory marked the beginning of his journey in the Nigerian music industry. Since then, Zlatan Ibile has gained recognition and success with hit songs and collaborations with top artists like Olamide, Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, and more.
He now has a luxurious walk-in-store, expensive houses, and cars, and is worth millions of naira.
Zlatan Ibile expressed his gratitude to the students of Mapoly, where he used to study, for their support in helping him win the car. He can’t believe that it has been 10 years since that moment, but he remains determined and committed to his music career.
Zlatan Ibile wrote; “10 years ago, there was no Zlatan Ibile. All there was, was an aspiring footballer. Mapoly students believed in me by ensuring I won this contest! From then, everything changed from football to music. I did not have 2 personal songs let alone a hit until 2017 with Baddo. Thank you to every Mapoly student who stood by me. Thank you Day 1 Zlatanovaz. Can’t believe today makes it exactly 10 years already… And we’re still going strong. ZTTW!.”
