The rapidly growing Nigerian musician Oluwabamishe Abioro, better known by his stage name Young Duu, has decided which of his employers he would choose to work with.

According to his Hip TV interview, he would rather work on music with comedian Carter Efe than singer Portable.
This comes after Carter was criticized by Young Duu for not giving him any money for their song “Oyinmo,” which they collaborated on.
Even though the ‘Machala’ crooner didn’t give him any money, the 20-year-old artist said he would like to collaborate with Carter Efe. He says that compared to Portable, Carter is more connected and powerful.
It’s important to remember that Young Duu began performing long before he became well-known in 2023, having signed a record label contract with Zeh Nation, which is controlled by Portable, a well-known and controversial street pop artist.
But since Portable asserted that Young Duu hadn’t made any money since joining the record business, he was forced to quit.
Then, he quit the record company to work with singer and comedian Carter Efe from Nigeria. The pair released the popular song “Oyinmo,” which became popular on music streaming services.
Comparing Carter with Portable, he said, “I will rather work with Carter Efe than with Portable because he has more connections and if he is ready to do something, he do it.”
“It is not that Portable does not have connections, he has connections too but I know what I’m saying”.
