A video of an X user triple-daring the EFCC to arrest guests at an Arewa wedding who were seen on camera spraying millions of Naira is making the rounds on social media.
Although it is commonly known that Igbo people in Nigeria are the best at throwing money at events, a viral video of Arewa people from northern Nigeria spraying money at an event demonstrates that Igbo people are also picking up on this skill.
The Arewa wedding shown in the video is nothing short of extravagant and not to be attended by the faint hearted.
The way the Arewa people sprayed money at the glitzy Arewa wedding became a trending topic on the internet, despite the fact that the county’s law strongly disapproved of Naira abuse.
Keep in mind that Bobrisky was jailed for six months after being arrested for naira abuse, and that Cubana Chief Priest was given a N10 million bail because of naira mutilation.
A user of the well-known microblogging site X, which was formerly known as Twitter, has challenged the EFCC to arrest Arewa people at the Arewa wedding if they genuinely don’t fear the children of wealthy northerners.
The X user identified as Will E. wrote; “Hello @officialEFCC , I triple dare you guys to go after this ones for spraying the Naira. Like, if dem born una papa well, go after this ones, we want to check something.”

That is how the EFCC branch in Enugu is frustrating Igbo’s. Focus on important things, all the money embezzled by politicians and recovered where is it and what is it used for? Nigeria is hard, leave people who are using their lifestyle to keep ppl busy, sane and going in this internet. If you can’t apply this law to all the politicians and top ppl spraying money then just rest! People spraying money is not our problem. Spraying money have been there like a culture. Focus on many people that Nigeria has. Cash people who are doing fraud and ppl embezzling our money.
