Survey Reveals Majority of Nigerian Women Prefer Dating Married Men Over Single Men

Chidera Eggerue, also known as The Slumflower, has observed that many Nigerian women prefer to date married men. The British-Nigerian writer and social campaigner has lived in Nigeria long enough to come to this conclusion. She has heard the bold statement from many ladies who are side chics to other women’s husbands. Eggerue wishes it wasn’t the case, but unfortunately, this is the reality of the dating scene in Nigeria. On Twitter, she shared her thoughts on the matter: “Ladies dating married men are doing so because they don’t want to be committed. They don’t want to be responsible for anything or contribute. They say single guys don’t know how to take care of ladies – they say this because they want everything for free. It’s disappointing.”
