Man Sentenced to 39 Years in Prison for Shooting and Killing His Pregnant Wife

The shot was aimed at her chest, indicating that the man was attempting to murder her as he did not want a baby. After eight years, the court found him guilty of attempted murder and sentenced him to 39 years in prison. Fortunately, the woman was able to give birth to a healthy baby boy and both mother and child are alive, although she is paralyzed from the chest down.
