Actors Adeniyi Johnson and Seyi Edun are prominent couple in the Yoruba Nollywood film industry. Although, in the wake of their relationship, it sparked controversies from different corners of the industry while cutting across the movie fans section as well. Their relationship has however, transcended beyond this level as it seems that warring factions have finally sheathed their weapons.

After Adeniyi Johnson and Toyin Abraham separated, rumors sparked that the star actor have moved on and found love in the hands of a younger actress, Seyi Edun. Seyi Edun stepped into the limelight with her 2011 movie project, Eja Nla. When asked about her affair with Niyi in an interview by the Vanguard when the rumors started, Seyi said the dating rumor started because the actor and herself spent three days on a holy mountain with Prophetess Olubori. She maintained that they were just friends and had nothing together then.
Moving away from that moment, both have confirmed numerously through social media and appearances at events that they are in a blissful affair.

Adeniyi Johnson was born on February 27th of 1978. He studied Mass Communication and International Relations at the Polytechnic of Ibadan and University of Lagos respectively. He first had a go at fame when he starred in the popular TV series, Tinsel before gaining a massive ground in the Yoruba film industry.
His versatility earned him roles in movies including Meet The In-Laws, Bloggers Wife, Ungrateful, Ologodo, Nkan Onikan and more. He won the 2018 City People Movie Awards for Best Supporting Actor of the Year. Adeniyi has starred in movies alongside Ibrahim Chatta, Seyi Edun, Adedimeji Lateef, Toyin Abraham, Tina Mba, Femi Adebayo and more.
Some facts about Seyi Edun
Seyi Edun is a native of Ayetoro Egbado in Ogun State. She was born and bred in Lagos. In 2009, she joined the industry and no sooner than later that she produced Eja Nla featuring Odunlade Adekola, Muyiwa Ademola and Bimbo Oshin. The movie shot her to fame. She joined the industry through the assistance of her younger sister who was already a scriptwriter on the scene.
She trained under a film caucus known as House of Wisdom and graduated in 2011. Seyi’s love for Dbanj made her adopt the name ‘Eja Nla’, an appellation associated with the pop star as the title of her first project. Speaking to Vanguard during an interview she said “I got the name Eja Nla from D Banj. I love D banj so much. I love his music and personality so I just decided to come up with something unique and produced a movie around that name. The name stuck ever since. She is often seen with Wumi Toriola, an actress who is perceived by many as her best friend.
Some of the movies she has starred in include Ale (Night), Wonuola, Omo mi, Amnesia and more. She has appeared in movies with Akin Lewis, Adeniyi Johnson, Muyiwa Ademola, Odunlade Adekola, Wumi Toriola and more. She is the CEO of Shai World Luxury, a clothing line for men and women
