In a bid to save his relationship with Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck is relying on his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, as he faces challenges in keeping his romance with Lopez going.
Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022, but after two years, cracks seem to be appearing as they struggle to meet each other’s needs.
Affleck’s reserved and moody demeanor clashes with Lopez’s outgoing and media-embracing personality, leading to tensions behind closed doors that may jeopardize their marriage.
Amidst this turmoil, Affleck believes that Jennifer Garner, his ex-wife, is the key to salvaging his relationship, citing the deep trust they share.
“Jen’s been wonderful. She doesn’t judge,” a source revealed. “Sure, Ben drives her crazy sometimes, but there’s an unbreakable bond there. Ben says Jen’s an angel and tells her she’s the only one who can save him.”
“He’s given Jen the code to his house so she can come right in. Other people have to be buzzed in, but not Jen. She can come and go whenever she wants. A lot of people in Ben’s circle are worried he’ll fall apart and relapse – Jen included.
“That’s one of the reasons why she’s keeping close tabs on him. She’s spending time with him, being a good listener. No one wants to see Ben succumb to his old self-destructive habits.”
Garner Prepared to Live with Affleck
Affleck’s self-destructive tendencies have led Garner, the mother of his three children, to contemplate living with him to closely monitor his well-being and be there for him when needed.
Despite living just a few blocks away with her current boyfriend, Garner has a space in his 10000 square-foot home, where she can stay if necessary.
“Things are very good between them,” the source added. “She cooks in his kitchen and has moved a few of her things there in case she needs to stay over.”
