Confession: Assisting Criminals in Anambra State

How My Husband And I Aided Gunmen In Anambra State (via Primetweets)

The Anambra State Police Command has announced its intention to thoroughly investigate allegations made by a woman who accused her husband of collaborating with criminals to sow fear in southeastern Nigeria.

A video surfaced showing a woman named Mrs. Ujunwa, a beer parlour operator in Anambra State, admitting that her husband is acquainted with and cooperates with unknown gunmen.

During her arrest in a recent security operation known as ‘Operation Udoka’ in the Southeast, the newlywed woman revealed a longstanding partnership between a traditional ruler in Anambra State and the notorious group responsible for creating havoc in the region.

She disclosed that the gunmen operate from camps hidden in the bushes where they meet with the traditional ruler and other community members for various discussions.

These hidden bases have served as the location where the group keeps and sometimes kills their kidnapped victims before carrying out criminal activities throughout the state, particularly in Anambra.

Mrs. Agueze, providing details about the camp locations, also mentioned that the gunmen own several vehicles and employ a motorcyclist to serve as a messenger.

She added that the criminals often frequent her husband’s beer parlour during the day for relaxation or send for drinks to be delivered to their camps.

When questioned about the startling revelations, SP Ikenga Tochukwu, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Anambra State Police Command, acknowledged the importance of the video and assured that it would undergo forensic scrutiny and investigation.
