President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged to guide Nigerians towards a brighter future.
This commitment was made at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Summit, where he received substantial backing from the APC Governors’ Forum.
While speaking to party members and stakeholders, President Tinubu stressed that it is essential to focus on taking action instead of voicing complaints.
“Now is the time for correction, not for complaining,” he stated.
In his remarks, he expressed appreciation for the support from party leaders, saying, “I am deeply grateful for your support; your endorsements serve as a powerful motivation.”
As the audience was energized, someone from the crowd called out, “Follow who knows the way,” to which Tinubu confidently replied, “I know the way, and we will guide you to that brighter future.”
He reassured everyone that the Nigerian economy is recovering, asserting that the “hope” many seek is already within reach.
“The revitalization of our economy is underway, it is here. Hope stands before you. Embrace it,” Tinubu remarked.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to laying the groundwork for industrial growth and sustainable national development.
“Nigeria will become industrialized; our targets will be met. If our current position is any indication, the coming years will be remarkable. We have the mission and the vision,” he stated.
When addressing worries about the state of democracy and APC’s dominance, Tinubu dismissed claims of a single-party system as unfounded.
“Those who claim a one-party system is detrimental are mistaken; it is a single party advocating for Nigerians. What alternatives do they suggest? You cannot fault people for seeking safety from a troubled situation when no options are available,” he explained.
In wrapping up his address, President Tinubu hinted at future growth opportunities for the APC, mentioning that more politicians are likely to join its ranks, viewing the party’s increased presence as an element of political dynamics.
