Mohamed Salah, a key player for Liverpool, has shared that he feels this is his best opportunity to win the prestigious Ballon d’Or.
The 32-year-old has had a remarkable season, helping his team secure the Premier League trophy.
Currently, he boasts 28 goals and 18 assists, placing him at the forefront of the league’s Golden Boot race.
The winner of this year’s Ballon d’Or will be revealed on September 22, and Salah is viewed as a strong contender.
“I don’t think I’ve had a season like this with significant victories,” he remarked.
“Thus, I believe this is my prime opportunity to achieve it while I am still here, especially after such an extraordinary season with a trophy,” Salah conveyed to Sky Sports.
He will be vying for the Ballon d’Or against Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembélé and Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal.
