Jennifer Lopez celebrated the one-year mark of her empowering song “Cambia el Paso” amidst swirling rumors about a possible breakup with Ben Affleck. The music video, shared on Instagram by the “Maid in Manhattan” star, exudes sensuality as Lopez showcases herself rolling around on a beach sporting a silver bustier and denim shorts.
As per the Daily Mail, one line from the lyrics reads: ‘Her life is better now without him … she doesn’t need anyone to be well / She does not fail, she does not fail.’
Rumors of separation
Despite not being spotted together for almost a month and ongoing speculations about a split, a source from Page Six mentioned that Affleck continues to be “very protective of Jennifer.”
Adding to the speculation, recent reports suggest that the duo is offloading artwork from their $60m Bel-Air residence. Listed for $65m in the previous month, the property, known as the “Wallingford estate,” is reportedly parting ways with some of its high-priced items, including artworks and other valuables, with sales occurring in early June.
The most recent public sighting of Lopez and Affleck was on June 2 at Affleck’s son Samuel’s basketball game in Los Angeles, where they shared an awkward peck on the cheek. It was reported that Affleck retrieved his remaining belongings from their shared abode while Lopez was on a vacation in Italy last month.
