Four concert attendees have filed a lawsuit against Chris Brown, seeking $50 million in damages for an alleged backstage assault that took place at his recent concert in Texas.
Allegations of Backstage Assault by Brown & Entourage
The lawsuit, filed in Harris County by Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell, also seeks a temporary restraining order against Brown, Live Nation, Sinko Ceej, Hood Boss, and Yella Beezy.
According to the lawsuit, the incident occurred after Brown’s performance at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth as part of his 11:11 Tour. The plaintiffs claim they were assaulted when they were invited backstage to meet Brown.
Reportedly, an altercation from the past was brought up, leading to a violent confrontation initiated by Brown and his entourage against the plaintiffs.
The lawsuit details the alleged attack on the plaintiffs, with Parker sustaining severe head injuries and others requiring medical attention for their injuries.
Legal Action Seeks $50 Million in Damages
The plaintiffs are seeking compensatory and punitive damages exceeding $50 million to cover their physical and emotional suffering, including medical expenses.
This incident adds to a series of legal issues for Brown, who has a history of violent behavior accusations, including a prior assault charge involving Rihanna and altercations with other celebrities and former partners.
Requests for comments from Brown, Live Nation, and the other defendants have not been addressed.
