Last June, reports surfaced about difficulties faced by Shakira, the former partner of Gerard Pique, in selling her Miami mansion.
As revealed by Omar Suarez on the ‘Fiesta’ show on Telecinco, the property was struggling to attract buyers due to an unpleasant smell emanating from it.
The Colombian artist had set a price tag of around 15 million euros on the house, which had become a significant concern for her.
“The property’s condition has deterred all potential buyers,” explained Omar Suarez on the Mediaset program. “Buyers withdrew interest upon discovering that some of the repairs did not meet standards.
“The bathrooms are below the water level, leading to the city’s sewage flooding the house during Miami’s rainy days,” he added.
“Shakira’s residence ends up receiving Miami’s waste, causing odor and hygiene issues,” added Suarez.
Despite these challenges, there are indications that the singer might be close to selling her mansion.
Renowned Hollywood Actor Eyeing Shakira’s Mansion
On ‘TardeAR,’ Kike Calleja revealed that a famous Hollywood actor is showing interest in buying Shakira‘s Miami mansion.
Noting the previous property issues, Calleja emphasized that “the mansion is exquisite and far from being undesirable.”
Calleja highlighted that the mansion boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a pool, a gym, and a small dock.
The vicinity is also inhabited by other globally renowned singers and actors.
Marc Anthony is said to have played a role as an intermediary in the potential sale.
While the identity of the prospective purchaser remains undisclosed, speculation suggests it could be either Ben Affleck, amidst rumors of marital discord with Jennifer Lopez, or Will Smith.
