The rescue operation of 20 medical students and seven others by security agents in Benue State is detailed with one suspected kidnapper killed and two others arrested.

The rescue involved land and air assets coordinated by the National Security Adviser in Abuja, leading to the students’ location in Benue State.
The students were swiftly taken to Abuja, where they will be reunited with their families after undergoing medical checks.
The rescue was confirmed by the Force Public Relations Officer, stating that no ransom was paid for the operation.
Parents of one of the students expressed relief and gratitude following the rescue, having endured the fear of losing their child a second time in a harrowing situation.
