Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are going separate ways as Lopez filed for divorce last week in Los Angeles. With their second wedding anniversary passing quietly, it’s clear that the celebrity couple has been leading very different lives throughout 2024.
Affleck has been spotted with actress Kick Kennedy, though the nature of their relationship is uncertain. While going through the process of separating from Lopez, the 52-year-old actor is finding solace in the support of one of his oldest friends.
Affleck reconnects with Matt Damon
More than twenty-five years after the release of “Good Will Hunting” in the United States, Affleck and Matt Damon continue to maintain a close friendship. In 2022, the duo established their production company, Artists Equity. Recently, Affleck joined Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso for dinner at Toscana in LA.
For the dinner, Affleck chose a casual ensemble of a button-down shirt over a plain T-shirt paired with jeans. As he left the restaurant, he appeared contemplative, while Damon seemed cheerful. The Golden Globe winner has been married to Barroso since 2005, and they share four children.
Affleck and ex-wife Jennifer Garner have three children together, one of whom he was dropping off at Yale University as Lopez initiated divorce proceedings out west. During this challenging time in his life, Affleck, a recipient of three Golden Globes and two Academy Awards, is also seeking support from Garner while tirelessly working, according to sources.
