The beloved former “Beverly Hills, 90210” couple shed light on the reason behind their 18-year silence during an open conversation on the “Oldish Podcast.”
Reflecting back to 2000, the end of the iconic series left Tori emotionally shattered, fearing that the show’s conclusion also marked the end of her close bond with Brian. “It felt like going through a divorce,” Tori confessed, expressing the anguish of losing someone she once saw daily. Despite Brian’s assurances to stay connected, their communication dwindled soon after.
Sharing his perspective, now 51-year-old Brian revealed his persistent attempts to nurture their friendship. He even visited mutual friend Vincent Young’s home multiple times in a bid to uphold their bond. However, according to him, Tori was unreachable. Fast forward to the 2006 “90210” DVD launch event; Tori attended with then-husband Dean McDermott, while Brian arrived with Megan Fox. The night turned awkward when Tori didn’t acknowledge Brian’s presence. Ouch!

She acknowledged that she distanced herself from Brian because he didn’t show support for her new relationship.
