Pink has refuted any association with Sean “Diddy” Combs amid rumors suggesting she removed posts related to him following his arrest.
Combs was arrested on September 16 in New York City and is facing grave allegations including sex trafficking and sexual assault.
After Combs’ arrest, speculation swirled around various celebrities, including Pink, allegedly cutting ties with him by deleting old posts.
On September 26, Pink responded to these claims via Instagram, clarifying that her decision to clear her X (formerly Twitter) account had been made months prior.
She posted a screenshot from February 6 announcing her intention to remove her X profile, stating, “This account will self-destruct in two minutes.”
Pink sets the record straight
In her Instagram update, Pink stated, “I’m unsure why I’ve made headlines recently, but I deleted my Twitter account on February 6!!!”
She further proclaimed that the speculation was unfounded, declaring, “The rumors spread this week are not true.”
Pink noted that while she might have encountered various individuals briefly, she has no ties to anyone involved in Combs‘ legal matters.
Combs‘ arrest followed a grand jury indictment with accusations of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transport for prostitution-related acts.
Federal authorities allege that Combs coordinated “freak offs,” which involved coerced sexual performances. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has vehemently denied these claims, asserting that Combs is “an innocent man with nothing to hide.”
Pink‘s remarks aimed to dissociate her from the swirling rumors regarding her connection to Combs‘ ongoing legal battles, clarifying that her social media activity was unrelated to his arrest.
