The rapper NBA YoungBoy has admitted to charges related to drug fraud.
During a court session on Monday in Logan, Utah, he pleaded guilty to two counts of identity fraud, two counts of forgery, and six counts involving pharmacy misconduct, all misdemeanors.
Originally, he faced a total of 46 charges at the state level.
Currently serving a 27-month federal sentence, YoungBoy also entered a no contest plea for 36 additional charges.
As part of his plea agreement, his felony charges were downgraded to misdemeanors.
The presiding judge, Spencer Walsh, decided to suspend any prison time and instead imposed a $25,000 fine.
“I believe that once you complete your federal sentence, you can have a successful future on probation and achieve your full potential,” the judge remarked.
Additionally, YoungBoy is dealing with a pending federal gun case in Louisiana.
