Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode expressed on Sunday that Kemi Badenoch, the recently elected leader of the UK’s Conservative Party, has rejected her Nigerian heritage.
Fani-Kayode stated that Badenoch has severed ties with her family and Nigerian background.
He emphasized on social media that there would be no connection or solidarity with her.
Fani-Kayode remarked: “She ought to officially remove her maiden name, Adegoke, from all records and publicly reject her father, mother, siblings, and her Nigerian roots and culture.
“She no longer wishes to associate with us, and we feel the same about her.
“She perceives us as corrupt and evil, while we view her as entirely negative, likening her to a significant threat against our nation.
“The reality is that she has transitioned from being merely bothersome to being seen as ‘public enemy number one’ to our cherished country.
“She should focus on the political matters in the UK, deal with the Labour Party and Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and leave Nigeria be!”
