Chris Rock Delivers a Humorous Blow to Jake Paul: Is Morgan Freeman Next on the Fight Card?

Jake Paul receives a 'slap in the face' from Chris Rock: Who's he going to fight next, Morgan Freeman?

Chris Rock recently expressed his views on Jake Paul after his recent match against Iron Mike Tyson on November 15, humorously questioning which elderly opponent Paul might choose next.

The match took place at AT&T Stadium, where Paul managed to secure a win against the former heavyweight champion in what many considered an uneventful fight, showcasing his stamina and speed over his opponent.

Despite the financial success of the bout, earning an impressive split decision (80-72, 79-73, 79-73), it did not win over many fans, especially following criticisms from boxing figures like Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder.

Amusingly, Rock suggested Paul might next target other elderly figures, mentioning Joe Biden, Clint Eastwood, or even the wheelchair-bound Hector Salamanca from Breaking Bad.

Rock humorously remarked, “Who is this Jake Paul? This 27-year-old punching a 60-year-old in the face. Is this what the white man has reduced himself to?”

He added, “Stop it! Who’s next, Morgan Freeman? I have landlord-level hate for Jake Paul.”

Paul Unfazed by Criticism

With around 65 million households tuning in via Netflix, the event saw Paul rake in about $40 million while Tyson took home a cool $20 million. Notably, this event set records for being the most-streamed boxing and MMA match outside Las Vegas and broke the record for the highest number of streams for any sporting event in U.S. history, surpassing even the Super Bowl and NBA Finals.

In light of this success, the 27-year-old conveyed a clear message to his critics—he simply does not care.

Paul stated, “There’s no reaction to the response of the Tyson fight. I frankly didn’t pay attention to it. Why should I bother with what others think about my actions?

He continued, “If someone in my life has something to say, they will text me. If you don’t have my number, I don’t care about your opinion.”
