Numerous viewers lined the Long Bien-Xuan Quan dyke close to Co Linh Road to witness an exhilarating air show featuring Su-30MK2 fighter jets along with Mi helicopters.
The event commenced with seven Mi helicopters in formation, showcasing the national flag alongside the Vietnam Defense Exhibition banner. These helicopters displayed various technical maneuvers, highlighting their dual capabilities in combat and emergency rescue.
Families waved flags as they climbed to rooftops and higher places to enjoy the aerial spectacle. The energy in the air was electric, causing road congestions as the crowd gathered for the thrilling performances.
A standout moment was the performance of the Su-30MK2 fighter jets, recognized for their impressive capabilities and referred to as the “guardians of the skies.” The jets performed intricate formations, effectively simulating combat scenarios with remarkable accuracy.
The audience was particularly thrilled when a Su-30MK2 executed a striking flare release, showcasing its skills in countering missile threats. The jets also dazzled spectators with acrobatic maneuvers, including tight loops and swift directional changes.
