Billie aims to keep her private life under wraps
Recently, Billie revealed to Vogue her intention to keep her sexuality and personal relationships out of the public eye. This statement came in an interview featured on the magazine’s cover, released on October 8.
This decision stems from her earlier admissions of being attracted to women, admitting to feeling “intimidated by their beauty and presence,” as she shared with Variety’s 2023 Power of Women. She expressed a desire for privacy, stating, “I wish nobody knew anything about my sexuality or love life. I never want to speak about it again.”
Billie shared her feelings of exhaustion over how the media amplifies her words, stating, “What I say turns into massive news worldwide.”
She emphasized that she is still navigating her rise to fame and intends to be more cautious with her expressions in the future, admitting, “We’re all still learning and growing.”
It’s reported that Eilish had a relationship with Jesse Rutherford, the frontman of The Neighbourhood, which lasted eight months before they amicably parted ways in May 2023, maintaining their friendship.
Prior to her relationship with Rutherford, she was involved with Matthew Tyler Vorce, an actor, for over a year from April 2021 to May 2022. She has also been linked with Brandon Q. Adams and a rapper known as 7:AMP.
