The relatives of the late artist, Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, have conducted a private autopsy and toxicology test to determine his cause of death.
In June 2024, a Coroner’s Court in Ikorodu, Lagos, granted permission for the family to carry out an independent autopsy and toxicology analysis following concerns regarding the circumstances of his passing.
This decision came after an official autopsy performed by the Lagos State Government that was found inconclusive and not accepted by the family.
According to a source within the family who spoke to The Punch, the findings of the private autopsy have been ready since December.
“The private autopsy is complete and the results have been communicated to the forensic specialist hired by the family. They have been prepared since December and the pathologist is set to present them in court,” the family member stated.
