Nigerian vlogger Sisi Yemmie emphasizes the importance of being cautious while shopping and suggests that individuals should carefully check their receipts after making purchases.
She shared an experience that highlighted this point.
During a recent visit to the supermarket, she noticed her total was significantly higher than expected. Upon inquiry, she found the cashier had mistakenly charged 10,000 Naira for bread that actually cost 2,500 Naira. The cashier quickly apologized for the error.
She noted: “At the supermarket, the total seemed off from my mental estimate. I asked about it and learned the cashier entered 10k for the bread instead of 2500… I insisted it was 2500, and she said, ‘oh my mistake’… she started apologizing.”
“Be vigilant.”
