For Joey, joining the army means structure, a future and career, but more importantly, a meal ticket out of her small town. All that goes out the window when she meets Rayna, a married mother of two, at the city fair. With Rayna, Joey finally feels like she has a purpose in life, and for Rayna, Joey is the shining light she’s been praying for. There are just a few obstacles standing in their way of a happily ever after including Rayna’s husband, the army, and the fact that gossip travels around their town at the speed of light. Good thing they can’t get enough of one another.
