Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen celebrating happily at friend Tyler Perry’s 55th birthday bash on Saturday night.
The festivities were hosted at a luxurious $31 million estate in Montecito, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spotted leaving around 11 p.m.
The party was a star-studded affair, featuring notable attendees like Oprah Winfrey, Alicia Keys, Aaron O’Connell, Gayle King, and Paramount CEO Brian Robbins with his spouse Tracy.
A local worker told Mail Online, “There were plenty of speeches and great food. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. It was a fun event filled with music, dancing, and singing.”
Sources mention a “male voice resembling Harry’s was heard delivering a speech.” The couple arrived around 7 p.m. with a driver and departed with a friend later on.
Harry and Meghan’s Bond with Perry
The celebration unfolded in a grand mansion comprising six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Meghan and Harry formed a close friendship with Perry, who offered them a home when they relocated to the U.S. in 2020.
Perry is also the godfather of Princess Lilibet. In September 2022, he shared insights about his connection with the couple.
“Against all odds, they found each other, and their love is genuinely touching. I want to support them in any way I can,” he expressed during an interview on the Today Show.
