A legal battle unfolds for Travis Kelce as contract details with Taylor Swift surface

Travis Kelce gets lawyers involved in his 'contract leaking' drama with Taylor Swift

Representatives of Travis Kelce found themselves refuting rumors that the tight end from the Kansas City Chiefs was planning to split from Taylor Swift soon.

The controversy stems from a supposed document attributed to Kelce’s PR firm, Full Scope, indicating that the relationship between Kelce and Swift may not be authentic.

The document purportedly lays out a contractual arrangement for the celebrities to announce their breakup on September 28. However, Kelce has taken legal action against those responsible for leaking this alleged document.

Contents of the leaked document

The document titled “Comprehensive Media Plan for Travis Kelce’s Public Relations Following Breakup with Taylor Swift,” details a strategy to release an official statement a few days post-breakup.

The statement, slated for release three days after the separation, aims to allow the initial media storm to die down and ensure clarity. It stresses a “gracious, respectful” tone centered on mutual respect between the parties.

The statement reads, “Travis and Taylor have chosen to go their separate ways after thoughtful deliberation. They hold each other’s personal lives in high regard and request privacy during this period. Both are dedicated to their careers and personal evolution. They maintain their friendship and wish each other the best.”

The document also outlines plans to circulate this statement widely among major media channels to garner maximum coverage.

In response to these assertions, a spokesperson from Full Scope vehemently denied any involvement in drafting the alleged contract.

They dismissed the document as “completely false and fabricated,” clarifying that it did not originate from, nor was authorized by, their agency.

Legal steps taken

Full Scope has enlisted legal assistance to address the situation but faces challenges in pinpointing the individuals behind the forgery.

The agency declared, “We have enlisted our legal team to begin legal proceedings against the individuals or entities accountable for the unlawful and damaging fabrication of documents.”
