Brad Pitt and his partner, Ines de Ramon, accompanied George and Amal Clooney for a glamorous double date in Venice, adding a touch of Hollywood glamor to the city’s enchanting ambiance.
The outing occurred just before the 81st Venice International Film Festival, where Pitt and Clooney are scheduled to present their highly awaited crime thriller, Wolfs.
A Luxurious Night Out with Hollywood Royalty in Venice
The couples made a fashionable entrance as they set out on a scenic water taxi ride through the Venetian canals.
Pitt, 60, and de Ramon, 34, enjoyed the stunning city views from the back of the boat, with Pitt affectionately holding onto de Ramon, who looked elegant in a black midi dress, as they greeted the photographers.
Meanwhile, George and Amal Clooney stood at the boat’s front, with George in a sharp navy blue suit. Amal exuded Venetian elegance in a flowing black dress paired with eye-catching jewelry, including large green gemstone earrings.
Upon reaching Ristorante Da Ivo, a favored spot of the Clooneys, the couples received a warm welcome from the restaurant staff.
The gentlemen, displaying their chivalry, helped their partners alight from the boat.
The group engaged in lively conversation during the boat ride, with Pitt energetically chatting with his longtime friend, Clooney.
Clooney Sets the Record Straight on Salary
The joint outing comes as Pitt and Clooney gear up for the world premiere of Wolfs, a film that signals another collaboration between the Hollywood icons.
During a recent festival press conference, Clooney addressed a widely circulated claim that he and Pitt were each paid over $35 million for their roles in the film.
“[It was] an interesting article and whatever her source was for our salary, it is millions and millions and millions of dollars less than what was reported,” clarified Clooney.
Expressing concern about industry standards, Clooney stated, “I think it’s bad for our industry if that’s what people think is the standard bearer for salaries. I think that’s terrible, it’ll make it impossible to make films.”
Clooney also expressed disappointment over the limited theatrical release of Wolfs, attributing it to post-pandemic challenges and industry changes.
