Alex Fine, husband of Cassie Ventura, spoke up in defense of his wife following her four days of heartfelt testimony against Sean Diddy Combs in a highly publicized sex trafficking case.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2019, have endured an emotional storm as the pop singer, who is currently eight months pregnant, shared painful memories from her troubled past with the music executive, as reported by RadarOnline.com.
Fine’s heartfelt remarks were delivered by lawyer Douglas Wigdor, who conveyed: “Over the past five days, the world has seen the strength and courage of my wife as she breaks free from her past.”
“There has been a lot of discussion online about how I might feel while listening to her testimony. I’ve experienced a range of emotions while sitting there,” he continued.
Despite grappling with these challenging feelings, Fine expressed pride in his wife, stating: “I have immense love and pride for Cass.”
After expressing his strong frustration towards the man who subjected Cassie to years of abuse, Fine spoke directly to Diddy.

“I didn’t rescue Cassie, as some might suggest. That notion undermines the immense work my wife has done to reclaim her life. Cassie liberated herself. She overcame the abuse, manipulation, violence, and threats alone. She battled the inner demons that were inflicted upon her,” he clarified.
In closing, the singer’s husband expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support they have received and highlighted their focus on looking ahead.
“Her life now brims with love, joy, and our family. This dreadful chapter is firmly behind her for good.”
He also requested privacy as they prepare to welcome their third child into a world that is “now safer thanks to her mother.”
