Spanish content creator and author Angela Marmol achieved global recognition after showcasing her beauty on a prestigious platform. She never anticipated that her appearance would resonate so deeply, even capturing the attention of acclaimed Hollywood actor Tom Cruise.

At just 22, Angela met 62-year-old Cruise on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. The seasoned actor was clearly taken aback by her beauty, looking somewhat shy as he admired the young influencer.

This encounter occurred during the promotional events for Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part Two at the Cannes Film Festival. Angela took the moment to share with her over 7.7 million TikTok followers, stating: “I’m going to meet Tom Cruise and I’m unsure of what to say.”

When they finally spoke, Tom welcomed Angela with a charming smile, displaying a different demeanor than usual—surprised, and seemingly bashful as he appreciated her elegant black dress, which featured a stylish thigh-high slit, complemented by her radiant smile.

During their brief conversation, Cruise showcased his etiquette. After Angela noted her struggles with English, Tom graciously responded: “No need to apologize, your English is better than my Spanish.”

Who is Angela Marmol?

Angela Marmol hails from Catalonia, Spain, born on June 19, 2002. At the age of 22, she has emerged as one of the most prominent figures in social media.

Currently, she boasts 7.7 million followers on TikTok, over 2.3 million on Instagram, and around 225,000 on Threads. On her platforms, she has openly discussed her experiences with bullying in childhood and violence in a past relationship.

This motivated her to explore social media as a platform to share her experiences with other youths facing similar challenges.

Additionally, she is an author. Her debut book, ‘Smile Even If It Hurts’, addresses the bullying she encountered during her teenage years and how she triumphed over it.

“My wish is that what you read will one day lead to a world where bullying is a thing of the past. Until that day comes, please offer your support and compassion to anyone you know who is being bullied,” Marmol expressed during her book launch on November 14, 2019.

However, with the rise in her popularity, she also faced cyberbullying after ending her relationship with tiktoker and musician Naim Darrechi, whom she accused of abusive behavior. This experience inspired her second book, ‘Del cielo al infierno en un post’ (From Heaven to Hell in a Post), released on October 13, 2021.
