Ben Affleck recently had a fun outing with his daughter, Seraphina, as they shopped for Halloween costumes at a Spirit Halloween store in Los Angeles.
The 52-year-old actor, dressed in casual attire, appeared to be getting into the Halloween spirit, despite the changes happening in his personal life.
While it’s uncertain whether they bought anything, this outing illustrates Affleck‘s dedication to spending quality time with his children amidst the ongoing divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
Known for his roles in acclaimed films like Good Will Hunting and Argo, Affleck has been making family a priority this summer. He has been frequently seen with his three kids – Seraphina, 18-year-old Violet, and 12-year-old Samuel.
Throughout the summer months, the actor has focused on family time, despite the ongoing changes in his relationship with Lopez.
Affleck and Lopez Prioritize Family
As Affleck and Lopez proceed with their divorce, they continue to maintain a friendly relationship. The pair was spotted together on September 14 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, along with their children.
In attendance were Lopez‘s twins, 16-year-olds Emme and Max, from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony. This gathering showcased their commitment to co-parenting and ensuring their children’s well-being.
Sources indicate that the divorce process is moving along smoothly, with both actors addressing financial matters without significant disputes.
Lopez, aged 55, has emphasized her focus on her children’s happiness, with a source mentioning, “The kids always got along and have fun together. Jennifer is prioritizing their needs and happiness.”
The divorce was officially filed by Lopez on August 20, marking two years since their wedding at Affleck‘s estate in Georgia.
The couple, who eloped in Las Vegas in July 2022, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split and are currently finalizing their finances, as they did not have a prenuptial agreement.
As they go through this process, Affleck and Lopez are also attempting to sell their Beverly Hills home. They purchased the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom residence in June 2023 for $60 million and it is currently listed for $68 million.
Though they accepted an offer of $64 million, the sale did not go through, leaving the property still on the market.
As Halloween draws near, Affleck’s recent day out with Seraphina reflects his commitment to nurturing his relationship with his children amid personal challenges.
Both Affleck and Lopez are striving to keep their family together during this transitional phase.
