Ben Affleck Shatters Expectations in 2025 Super Bowl Ad: “See My Journey!”

Ben Affleck is a highly recognized figure in Hollywood, celebrated for his acting skills and directorial prowess, winning an Academy Award for the best director for the film “Argo” in 2013.

In addition to his film career, Affleck has collaborated successfully with Dunkin’, America’s leading coffee and donut chain. Their partnership kicked off during a Super Bowl commercial in February 2023, featuring Affleck manning the Dunkin’ drive-thru.

This marked Dunkin’s inaugural Super Bowl advertisement, where the actor humorously took an order from his then-wife, Jennifer Lopez. The campaign expanded to include amusing moments, like Affleck being confused with Matt Damon while out for coffee, and even a custom drink launched in collaboration with rapper Ice Spice.

The DunKings Return… Without Jennifer Lopez

A memorable Super Bowl advertisement from the previous year featured Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, and a few other stars in a playful promotion for Dunkin’. In a surprising turn, Ben interrupted J.Lo during her recording session.

Alongside a talented boy band ensemble dressed in quirky Dunkin’ tracksuits – which included local icons like Matt Damon and Tom Brady – The DunKings debuted their catchy song, “Don’t Dunk Away at My Heart“, amusing J.Lo but also putting her in a slightly awkward position.

Changes are finally here this year. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez‘s relationship has reached its final chapter. The pair, who had a romance in the early 2000s, reconnected nearly two decades later. Though they tied the knot in 2022, their marriage faced hurdles, leading to their separation in mid-2024, followed by Lopez filing for divorce in August. They concluded their divorce proceedings last January.

Jeremy Strong Shines in the Latest Dunkin’ Commercial

The recent Dunkin’ advertisement features “Succession” star Jeremy Strong, a Boston local, who shares the screen with Ben Affleck and his brother Casey. The spot is titled “The Bean Method” and starts with the Afflecks outside Strong’s dressing room, discussing Strong’s preparation for his role.

Casey notes, “Jeremy is a method actor. He won’t come out until he’s ready.” As Ben opens the door, Strong pops out from a massive can of Dunkin’ coffee beans, prompting Ben to ask, “What are you doing in there?”

Strong humorously replies, “We’re shooting a Dunkin’ Donuts ad, right? I’m just trying to get into character.” He continues, “Since we’re both from Boston, I’m channeling that with Dunkin’ — Boston is Paul Revere. One if by land, two if by sea. The red coats are coming.”

In response, Ben states, “You’re an artist, and I understand that. But how long will this ‘bean method’ take?”

To which Strong replies, “I’ll be ready in about three hours.” Casey then quips, “You should have hired Matt,” referencing their friend Matt Damon. Ben acknowledges this point. The advertisement wraps up with “Suit Up, America, 2.9.25” displayed, hinting at the Super Bowl where Ben and the Dunkin’ team are set to unveil their next adventure.
