Blake Lively appeared publicly for the first time since the controversies surrounding the film “It Ends With Us.”
During a pool party at Taylor Swift‘s Rhode Island mansion, the 36-year-old actress was spotted sharing a romantic moment with her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
Lively was photographed kissing Reynolds while sporting floral shorts and a coral bikini top, while Reynolds was casually dressed in a pink shirt and a blue cap. This public appearance comes after Lively found herself in various recent controversies.
One such controversy involves a 2016 interview where Lively made a comment to Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa that led to backlash.
During the interview, Lively mistakenly commented on a “bump” after being congratulated on a pregnancy by the reporter. However, Flaa was not pregnant at the time and later disclosed her infertility struggle, describing the interaction as deeply uncomfortable.
Speculation of tension with co-star
Lively has faced scrutiny due to resurfaced remarks, including the use of derogatory language in interviews, fueling rumors of tension with her “It Ends With Us” co-star, Justin Baldoni.
Reports suggest that Lively and Baldoni had conflicts on set, with Baldoni allegedly making Lively uncomfortable, particularly regarding her post-pregnancy body.
Their disagreements extended to creative differences, as Lively reportedly took issue with certain aspects of the film’s direction.
Baldoni, the film’s director, hinted that Lively might be better suited to direct any potential sequel, leaving uncertainties about his involvement in future projects related to the film.
