Britney Spears and Sam Asghari’s split, the the actor will likely walk away from their marriage with little — if anything — due to their iron-clad prenup.
“Britney and Sam signed a prenup in her favor,” a source told Page Six days after the couple tied the knot in June 2022.
“Any money she made before the wedding is protected.”
Soon after the “Womanizer” singer, 41, and the model, 29, got engaged in September 2021, she had her attorney, Mathew Rosengart, hire a family lawyer to prepare the agreement.
Page Six confirmed Wednesday that she and Asghari had separated.
Meanwhile, fans of the pop star expressed concern about her multi-million dollar fortune.
“Britney girl, I hope that prenup is air tight,” tweeted one fan.
“I hope #BritneySpears got a prenuptial agreement before she married this young guy. Don’t get me wrong I’m not knocking a prenup because any man I date I am immediately offer a prenup to, before marriage. I’m sure she was daft enough not to get one,” wrote another.
Sources told TMZ Wednesday that Asghari allegedly confronted Spears last week over rumors that she had cheated on him.
Though it’s unclear whether the claims were valid, it allegedly resulted in a massive argument between the pair.
As a result, the former personal trainer has reportedly already moved out of their shared home.

An insider told TMZ, “It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce.”
Reps for Asghari and Spears did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The shocking news comes two months after the “Gimme More” singer and Asghari celebrated their first wedding anniversary.
“Happy 1 year to me & my better half,” the actor wrote on Instagram in June alongside a photo of the couple wearing their wedding rings.
Although things seemed to look good on the outside, a month before TMZ released a documentary about the Grammy winner, alleging that her marriage was in “deep trouble.”
The outlet claimed that Spears had gotten physical with Asghari during screaming matches and that he stopped spending time at their home.
However, the Princess of Pop and her husband shut down speculation about their marriage being on the rocks.
Asghari slammed the “disgusting” documentary — and those who were involved — for trying to use his wife “as a money-making machine.”
Spears, for her part, shared a video of the two making out underneath flowers.
Before her marriage to Asghari, the “I’m a Slave 4 U” singer was briefly married to Jason Alexander for 55 hours in 2004.
She then wed Kevin Federline that same year, but they called it quits three years later. The former backup dancer and Spears share two sons: Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden, 16.
