Dorinda Medley was not pleased with Tom Sandoval’s interview with Howie Mandel. She questioned why he would even go on the podcast given Mandel’s lack of knowledge about “Vanderpump Rules” and what he was trying to insinuate by painting his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix out to be a “needy” and “crazy” girlfriend. Medley also offered Sandoval some advice when it comes to doing interviews outside Bravo: “Don’t”.
Bravo head honcho Andy Cohen echoed Medley’s sentiment, saying neither Sandoval nor Mandel “did themselves any favors” with the interview. During his hour-long appearance on the podcast, Sandoval claimed he broke up with Madix on Valentine’s Day, two weeks before she found out he was having an affair with her then-BFF Raquel Leviss. He also said Madix turned a “blind eye” to his obvious romance with Leviss and that they had been “communicating inappropriately for months” behind Madix’s back.
Medley slammed Sandoval for putting the blame on Madix rather than just taking responsibility for his infidelity. She argued that it didn’t serve him well and questioned what he was trying to insinuate by talking about Madix’s feelings and reactions. Ultimately, she concluded that loyalty does matter and that people should trust the process.
