Chief Deputy District Attorney Marc DiGiacomo described Davis as the “on-ground, on-site commander” who “ordered the death” of Shakur.

The “Compton Street Legend” author’s arrest came two months after Vegas authorities raided a Henderson, Nev., home, which, according to records obtained by Page Six, belonged to Davis’ wife, Pamela Clemons.

Davis had long claimed that he was an eyewitness to Shakur’s tragic shooting death, which occurred on the Las Vegas strip in September 1996 when the “Poetic Justice” rapper was riding shotgun with Death Row Records co-founder Marion “Suge” Knight after a boxing match.

Pinkett Smith, 52, and Shakur met at the Baltimore School for the Arts in Maryland in the mid-’80s.

In a previous interview, the mom of two reflected on the first time she met the six-time Grammy-nominated emcee.

“It was the first day and he came over to me and introduced himself,” she recalled. “And in high school, Pac was a little funny looking. Definitely from looking at him, wasn’t necessarily the type of cat that I would even like, deal with.

“But as soon as he approached me, he was like a magnet. Once you paid attention to him he kind of sucked you in. And we hit it off from that moment on … I don’t think either one of us thought we would have made it in the way that we did, but we knew we were gonna do something.”

Most recently, the “Set It Off” actress shared a sweet throwback video of herself and Shakur lip-syncing to “Parents Just Don’t Understand” by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince — also known as Jada’s now-husband, Will Smith.

The “I Am Legend” star — who tied the knot with the “Red Table Talk” host in 1997 — previously admitted that he was jealous of his wife’s close friendship with Shakur.
