The “Big Bang Theory” alum took to social media to give fans a glimpse into her hands-free workout routine Monday following her diagnosis.
“Hey guys, so some of you may know I have this, like, major wrist, hand injury from holding the baby. It’s a very real thing. Google it,” Cuoco, who wore a wrist brace on each hand, said in a video posted to her trainer Ryan Sorenson’s Instagram account.
“And I think the only thing to make them better is for us to start working out without using my hands. And without using any body weight on my hands, which sounds crazy, and how can you get a workout like that?” she continued. “But Ryan and I are gonna do it today and we’re gonna show you that you can still get a workout, even if you are injured.”
The 37-year-old then took viewers through her entire workout routine for the day, which included everything from banded jump squats to running on the treadmill and even some light sparring.
Despite her ailments, the actress showed off her fit physique in a pair of black leggings and a white muscle tee with “HAPPY” written on the front.
“And that is how you do a no-hands workout and still get your a— kicked,” Cuoco, who was covered in sweat, said at the end of the workout. “So, you can always do it. No excuses.”
According to the Mayo Clinic, carpal tunnel syndrome stems from a pinched nerve and can lead to “numbness, tingling, and weakness in the hand and arm.”
In the wake of her injury, Sorenson noted in the caption that he and Cuoco have been focused on working “lower body and core work” for the majority of their workouts.
“Always finding ways to work around these things and most importantly no excuses!” he added along with the hashtags “carpel tunnel,” “no excuses,” and “moms who lift.”

Cuoco welcomed Matilda with partner Tom Pelphrey, 41, in March.
She and the “Ozark” star began dating in April 2022 and, according to Cuoco, it was “love at first sight.”
“It was like the angels started singing,” she said of meeting Pelphrey in an interview with Extra. “I was like, ‘Hallelujah.’ It was very magical. … It was perfect.”
In fact, the mother of one later admitted that she instantly knew she wanted to start a family with the actor — despite motherhood not being on her “radar” prior.
“This was not a goal of mine,” she told Emmy magazine in May. “Then when we met, it was instantaneous — ‘Oh my God, I want to have a kid with you.’”
The actress continued, “We both wanted it so badly, which was not what I thought my life would be. I love my career and wanted to just keep living my life. But Tom came along, and something changed. We’re not twenty, so we felt like we probably couldn’t wait too long. Then we got so blessed — it happened right away.”
Cuoco was previously married to tennis pro Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016, as well as equestrian Karl Cook from 2018 to 2022.
