Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann welcomed four children together prior to their contentious divorce — and they are now fighting for custody of the minors.
In addition to sons Kroy and Kash and twins Kaia and Kane, the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star is the mother of adult daughters Brielle and Ariana from previous relationships. The retired football player adopted them in July 2013.
Since the estranged couple filed for divorce in May 2023, they have been taking hits at each other’s parenting skills in court documents and statements from their lawyers.
Not only did Biermann demand Zolciak be drug tested and allege her gambling “financially devastated” him, but the former athlete also claimed in June 2023 that the kids needed protection from their “abusive” mother.
The “Tardy for the Party” singer had “no choice but to speak up” at the time, accusing her soon-to-be ex of trying to paint her as an “unfit mother” in the public eye.

Brielle Karenna Biermann
Zolciak gave birth to Brielle in February 1997 and has yet to reveal her eldest child’s paternity.
As for the Instagram model’s own love life, she has been linked to two MLB players — Michael Kopech and Justin Hooper in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
In addition to launching KAB Cosmetics with her sister Ariana in 2019, the duo are set to star in a “Cut Off” reality series following their Los Angeles move to launch hair care products.
Aside from her relationships and career milestones, Brielle often makes headlines for her plastic surgery denials.
“My face is fat right now I’m thicker than I usually am can all of u seriously f–k off,” the model, who has admitted to double jaw surgery and lip fillers, told Instagram trolls in 2018. “It’s my face if I wanna get 37 surgeries on it I will!!”
Three years later, Brielle told Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” that she hopes she “look[s] f–king different … [from] 10 years old to 24.”
Ariana Lenee Biermann
Zolciak shares Ariana, who was born in October 2001, with her ex-husband, Daniel Toce. The former couple split two years after their baby girl’s arrival.
Ariana has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with her high school classmate Hudson McLeroy since 2017.

The duo were arrested in August 2022 under suspicion of drunk driving, and Ariana’s mugshot was featured on her 21st birthday cake.
Zolciak praised her daughter for being “honest and cooperative” via Instagram Stories at the time, “wholly den[ying]” the charges she was “not guilty of.”
Like her sister, Ariana has also clapped back at plastic surgery rumors over the years, from tummy tucks to lipo.
The social media influencer told her Instagram followers in 2021 that her 50-pound weight loss was “not easy” and took “time.”
Kroy Jagger “KJ” Biermann Jr.
Six months before Kroy and Zolciak’s November 2011 wedding in Georgia, the couple welcomed their first child together, son Kroy Jr., nicknamed “KJ.”
Zolciak has shared rare updates on her eldest son over the years, including his choking scares in 2020.
“I had nightmares for weeks, still can’t talk about it without crying and I will never forget it,” the Bravolebrity wrote via Instagram. “I can still see his face and the fear in his eyes.”
The following year, Zolciak revealed that KJ was following in his dad’s athletic footsteps by playing flag football.
The little one is a “whole head taller than anyone in his class,” with Zolciak opening up about his bullying struggles during BravoCon 2019.
“[The other students] don’t want KJ to be the quarterback because he’s too big. And it hurts his feelings because he has such a tender heart,” she explained, noting that she and the administration nipped the behavior “in the bud.”
Kash Kade Biermann
KJ became a big brother in August 2012 when Zolciak gave birth to son Kash.
The little one had reconstructive face surgery in November 2020, five years after he was mauled by their family dog Sinn and left nearly blind by a scratch near his left eye.
“I’ve never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life,” Zolciak wrote via Instagram after the April 2017 attack.
Kaia Rose Biermann
In August 2013, Zolciak announced that she was pregnant with twins. She welcomed daughter Kaia and son Kane three months later.
Kaiai, who appeared on “Don’t Be Tardy” prior to its cancellation in May 2021, has seemingly shown an interest in makeup — which her mom denied in September 2019.
The previous year, Zolciak was accused of Photoshopping her youngest daughter’s appearance to make her backside look larger and her nose smaller. She seemingly denied the 2018 claim when she tweeted, “I think I’ve heard it all now!!”
Kane Ren Biermann
Kane, who arrived 30 minutes after Kaia, has a middle name honoring the doctor who delivered five of Zolciak’s six kids.
The singer’s youngest son takes after his mom in terms of “face, hair texture [and] smile,” but is “built exactly” like Kroy.
In January 2020, Kane was involved in a go-kart accident. The helmeted little one was not injured in the vehicle’s flip.
