Madonna appeared to be in great spirits one day before she was rushed to the hospital due to a bacterial infection.
According to pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, the “Like a Virgin” songstress, 64, visited the Karl Lagerfeld exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum in New Yok City with one of her dancers and her assistant.
The pop star dressed casually for the outing, wearing black sweatpants, a long sleeve black shirt and a black baseball cap.
She also had on a pair of shades and a black jacket wrapped around her waist.
Madonna completed her look with a pair of white Nike Air Max sneakers.
The “Vogue” singer’s outing came hours before she was found unresponsive in her home and transported to an NYC hospital on Saturday.
Page Six exclusively reported that Madonna was intubated for at least one night before having the tube removed. A source told us she was now “out of the ICU.”
On Wednesday, the Grammy winner’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, shared on Instagram that his client had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU.”

Oseary explained that Madonna was “still under medical care” and a “full recovery is expected.”
TMZ reported Thursday that the “Material Girl” songstress had been battling a month-long, low-grade fever before being found unresponsive.
The outlet claimed Madonna ignored her symptoms and never saw a doctor because she was focused on getting ready for her upcoming “Celebration” tour, which has since been postponed.
Sources told Page Six that Madonna had been “strenuously rehearsing” for weeks and putting in “12-hour days” in preparation for the tour, which was set to kick off in Vancouver, Canada on July 15.
Since being released from the hospital, the Queen of Pop has been recovering in her home. However, sources told TMZ that she has been “vomiting uncontrollably” and is bedridden.
Insiders told the outlet that she first began throwing up on Saturday when the symptoms began, adding that she also “collapsed” during that time.
Madonna’s family has shown up for her throughout this ordeal.
