the son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi announced their engagement in April after two years of dating.
But despite the fact that her future father-in-law is a legendary rocker, the “Stranger Things” star said he will not be taking to the stage at her wedding to his son.
“I feel like that’s asking me to go and like, do a full-on play for everyone,” she said on “Today” Friday. “I think the man needs a break, he doesn’t stop.”
“He’s always doing tennis or singing lessons. I think he needs a break, maybe it’s a three-hour break,” she told co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.
In 2016, Bon Jovi surprised an audience when he jumped out of his seat to perform “Livin’ on a Prayer’ during a wedding he attended.
The “Enola Holmes” star said the rocker will attend the wedding as a guest, not a performer.
“That would be wild. I don’t know if he’ll be able to do just that,” she quipped.
And when asked about how wedding planning is going, Brown said the process has been anything but stressful.
“Jake is very, he’s very involved, he’s very helpful during the whole process,” she revealed. “I’ve never felt alone in it, which is very nice.”
“I’m always like, ‘Is this a good idea, is this a good idea?’ But ultimately, it’s just a very intimate day for the both of us and we’re both very excited.”
“I love being home with my fiancé and my family,” Brown went on. “It’s really boring but chopping up the vegetables and going to take them out to my pony is the best part of my day.”
In an interview with the Sunday Times in August, Brown opened up about the moment Bongiovi, 21, popped the all-important question.
The actress revealed that her fiancé proposed with a ring that her mother Kelly gave to him.

“I’ve always loved that ring, it’s always stuck out to me, so she gave it to Jake,” she told the outlet. “They were in cahoots about the whole proposal. I love that I can always keep a piece of my mum with me.”
Recalling the moment she first laid eyes on Jake, Brown said she had finally met the one.
“I ran to my mom and said: ‘I really, really like him,’” she told the outlet. “After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side. You can’t pinpoint why, it’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with.”
