The race is on for single Shakira! After Tom Cruise and the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer were spotted together at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami over the weekend, a source has exclusively revealed to Page Six that Cruise is “extremely interested in pursuing her.” The source added that there is “chemistry” between the two and that Cruise is “a nice-looking guy, and he is talented.” Additionally, the source joked that Cruise has the advantage of being shorter than Shakira, who is 5-foot-2.
The source also claims that Cruise sent Shakira flowers, and the two were seen chatting in a private hospitality suite on Sunday. This comes after Shakira split from her longtime partner Gerard Piqué last June. In an interview with Elle last September, Shakira said that it had been “tough not only for me, but also for my kids. Incredibly difficult.” She and Piqué share two children, Sasha and Milan.
Cruise, who is 5-foot-7, has three children of his own: Isabella and Connor from his marriage to Nicole Kidman, and Suri whom he shares with ex-wife Katie Holmes. He was most recently dating his “Mission: Impossible 7” co-star Hayley Atwell, but they split in September 2021 and again for the final time in June 2022.
Shakira now resides in Miami and it remains to be seen if Cruise will be able to win her heart.
