The “Modern Family” alum filed her legal documents Monday and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their split.
Like the “Magic Mike” hunk, Vergara wants spousal support to be determined by their prenup, the details of which aren’t public.
However, Vergara’s documents, obtained by Page Six, did note that “miscellaneous jewelry, artwork and other personal effects,” as well as any earnings she made before, during and after their date of separation, belong to her.
The estranged couple’s communal property will be divided according to their prenup, and both Manganiello and Vergara agreed to pay their own attorney’s fees.
Page Six broke the news on July 17 that Manganiello, 46, and Vergara, 51, were going their separate ways after seven years of marriage.
“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the pair told us in a statement. “As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
A source also shared that the “Spider-Man” actor and “America’s Got Talent” judge had been “growing apart for a while.”

A couple of days later, Manganiello initiated divorce proceedings while Vergara was still celebrating her birthday in Italy.
Vergara eventually returned home to Los Angeles where bouquets of flowers from her supportive friends awaited her.
“Sofía’s living her best life. She’s spending time with her friends after being stifled in a relationship with a largely unsupportive partner,” another source told Page Six.
“Sofía was always there to take care of Joe, while his career was never what it was when they met. I think he’s been threatened by her success and joie de vivre.”
A mutual friend also told us that Manganiello was “a little more dejected” over the split but knew “this was the right way to go,” as he’s determined to have children of his own.
