announced her separation from the former NBA player via Instagram Sunday, insisting that there was no cheating in the relationship.
“AHT AHT! Not too much on my bestie! In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while,” Taylor captioned a photo of the two dressed up as Wayne and Garth from “Wayne’s World.”
“To be 1000% clear, ‘infidelity’ ain’t one of the reasons for our departure. We are still the best of friends, great business partners and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our 2 beautiful children.”
The “A Thousand and One” actress further stressed that she and her estranged husband will remain “family” despite their breakup.

“In the 10yrs together, 7yrs married we ain’t ever played with or about THAT,” she continued.
“We just keep y’all asses out the group chat lol, which is the reason we’ve been able to successfully & peacefully separate without all of the outside noise.”
The “White Men Can’t Jump” star also addressed the “narratives” about herself and the retired baller, which she said have been “getting a little out of hand.”
“It’s unfair to all parties involved,” she added. “I hope this provided some clarity for y’all.”
Taylor, 32, and Shumpert, 33, confirmed their romance on social media back in June 2014.
The two secretly tied the knot in 2016.
They share two children, 7-year-old Iman Tayla — nicknamed “Junie” — and 3-year-old Rue Rose.
Shumpert delivered both of their daughters at home in the bathroom.
“At 3:28 am on Sept 6th 2020 Rue Rose 🌹 decided that the baby shower thrown for her and mommy was too lit. She didn’t make the party but she managed to make the next day her birthdate!!!” he shared on Instagram at the time.
“Now…when we buy homes, we always find a bathroom with great energy… but not in a million years would you be able to tell me we’d deliver both of our daughters in a bathroom without the assistance of a hospital!”
The former NBA champion has yet to speak out about the split.
