The 32-year-old hip-hop icon Cardi B was seen in public for the first time with her new boyfriend, NFL player Stefon Diggs, at the NBA playoff match held at Madison Square Garden on Monday, featuring the New York Knicks facing the Boston Celtics.
The duo arrived together, hand in hand, putting to rest the rumors that have linked them romantically since February.
Her look was adorned with a blue manicure, eye-catching rings, and numerous stacked bracelets, which she showcased in her Instagram Stories.
Diggs chose a laid-back denim outfit paired with a white t-shirt and Timberland boots, creating a relaxed yet complementary look alongside the rapper.
During the game, which concluded with a 121-113 win for the Knicks over the Celtics, the couple appeared joyful and close. The event was star-studded, featuring celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Timothee Chalamet, Kendall Jenner, and Bad Bunny, but it was Cardi and Diggs who captured the most attention.
Cardi B’s joyful new chapter with Diggs
This budding romance emerges during a notably challenging period in Cardi B‘s life. She filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024, concluding their tumultuous relationship that began in 2017.
The couple welcomed three children during their time together: Kulture, age six; Wave, age three; and an eight-month-old daughter, reportedly named Blossom.
Offset, 33, is also a father to three children from prior relationships.
The separation from Offset has been tumultuous and highly publicized. Since October 2024, they have engaged in fierce social media disputes, with Cardi labeling him a “disgusting narcissist” before a brief reconciliation on his birthday.
That truce was short-lived: shortly after, Cardi insisted that Offset finalize the divorce papers, and recently accused him of sending serious threats and inappropriate messages intended for his new partner.
In contrast, her bond with Stefon Diggs appears to breathe new life into Cardi’s situation. Although the New England Patriots wide receiver has had past relationships, including with actress Tae Heckard, this partnership with Cardi signifies a refreshing new beginning for both.
Following months of speculation—first spotted together in October 2024 and later on a Valentine’s Day outing—Cardi and Diggs have now publicly affirmed their relationship, and judging by their joyful expressions and interactions, Cardi B is not only rejuvenating her romantic life but radiating more happiness than ever.
